Why Phi Kappa Phi?

Phi Kappa Phi is more than a line on a résumé.  More than 1.5 million members have joined the society since its founding in 1897 at the University of Maine. It is a global network of the best and brightest, a community of scholars and professionals building an enduring legacy for all generations.

Phi Kappa Phi has been part of the West Virginia University community for over 40 years. Since our chapter's founding in 1975, we have been proud to recognize the academic achievements of over 4,600 Mountaineers.
